About this notice
ScopeStead is operated by an individual in Colorado, United States. This notice covers scopestead.com and inquiries about its demos. The website explains Bid Tool and Takeoff Tool and provides fictional sample files. It has no account signup, checkout or document-upload form. Product use and customer project data require separate arrangements.
Information you send
The demo and contact links open your email application. Nothing is sent until you send the email. We receive your email address, message, and any name, company, phone number or other details you choose to include. Messages to [email protected] pass through Cloudflare Email Routing and arrive in Gmail.
We use this correspondence to answer your questions, arrange a demo and continue discussions you request. We do not currently operate a newsletter or promotional mailing list. Please do not include customer drawings, pricing or other confidential project information in an initial inquiry.
Website visits and analytics
Cloudflare hosts and protects this site. It processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information and request times to deliver the site, manage traffic and address security problems.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. It is currently configured to exclude visitors in the European Union. Cloudflare states that this analytics service does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint individual visitors. This statement concerns Web Analytics; hosting and security services can process technical data separately.
We do not install advertising pixels or tools for tracking identifiable visitors across third-party websites over time. Cloudflare Web Analytics states that it does not track individual end users across its customers’ websites. Separately, Cloudflare may process IP addresses and other network activity from this and other sites using its services over time to operate and improve its network and address security threats. That network processing can involve personal information and is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy and service terms. This website does not change its content in response to a browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal; hosting, security and the configured performance measurements still operate. Browser controls or extensions may block the analytics request.
Providers and disclosures
Cloudflare provides hosting, security, analytics and email routing. Google provides the Gmail inbox used for inquiries. These providers process information in connection with those services and under their applicable privacy terms. Their services may process information in the United States and other countries.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, address misuse, or establish or defend legal rights.
How long information is kept
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer the inquiry, maintain related business discussions or customer relationships, or meet legal recordkeeping needs. You can ask us to delete your inquiry using the contact below.
Cloudflare and Google also retain technical, service and backup records under their own policies. Removing an email from the active inbox does not mean every provider-held record is immediately erased. We do not promise a single deletion period for all provider records.
Your questions and choices
Email [email protected] to ask about information in your inquiry, request a copy or correction, or ask for deletion. Please use the address you originally contacted us from when possible; we may need to verify a request before disclosing or changing information. If information must be kept to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute, we will explain that limitation. Any additional rights depend on the law that applies to your request.
You can browse the site and its public samples without sending a demo request. The site is intended for construction-industry professionals, not children.
