Alder Works · SAMPLE OUTPUT — ILLUSTRATIVE
FROM DOCUMENTS TO DECISIONS
Keep the basis of your bid in view.
Check which drawings were supplied, what the specifications ask for and which quantities still need review. Give your estimating team a clear starting point for scope and pricing decisions.
Both tools stand alone. A connected handoff is planned; Send to Takeoff is not a live transfer today.
PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Where the tools fit.
Which tool should I start with?
Start with Bid Tool to turn a folder of downloaded bid files into a prepared job folder, with an estimate template filled where supported and a bid-list row. Start with Takeoff Tool to review supported quantities against construction drawings.
What do I give Bid Tool, and what comes back?
Download the bid invitation and project files, collect them under a folder name and bring that folder into Bid Tool. The intended workflow analyzes the contents, fills what it can in the estimate template, creates the bid-list row and outputs the prepared job folder. Confirm current workflow and template support in a demo.
Can I use either tool on its own?
Yes. Bid Tool starts with a bid package and prepares an organized project for estimator review. Takeoff Tool starts directly from construction drawings. A connected handoff is planned for teams using both.
What does Takeoff Tool cover?
Coverage depends on the trade, drawing quality, scale and type of measurement. The framing sheet is an illustrative example, not proof of complete trade coverage. Ask to see your required drawing conditions and outputs demonstrated; full-job automated takeoff is still being validated.
Does ScopeStead price or approve a bid?
No. The tools prepare document and takeoff information. Estimators review the basis, correct uncertainties, apply pricing and approve what leaves their team. The fictional sample estimate leaves quantities and prices for the estimator to enter.
How do access and pricing work?
Request a demo to discuss current availability and scope. Public pricing, deployment and support terms have not been finalized. There is no self-service sign-up or purchase today.
Can I inspect an example before contacting you?
Yes. The Alder Works sample package includes 13 files you can preview, print and download without signing up. It is a fictional, authored example—not a customer deployment or a live automated result.
What happens to my drawings and pricing?
This website has no drawing upload. Please discuss how project files would be handled before sharing customer drawings or pricing.
